Tradurre la poesia

Tradurre la poesia è una cosa molto complicata perché il poeta ricerca le parole e spesso riuscire a mantenere le rime, il significato e lo spirito dell'opera originale può diventare un'impresa. Ho provato a cimentarmi in questo lavoro di traduttore provando a tradurre questo mio componimento, questo è ciò che ne è venuto fuori, quello che in inglese chiameremmo output.


OUTSOURCING

Companies have discovered a thing
to spare on salaries and not pay,
a genial thing - let me say -
and its name is: Outsourcing.

They open new factories
in an emerging country friend
and here in Europe, at the end,
they leave just the offices.

A big economy, there is no doubt,
expecially on human resource,
but when all we can do will be out,

what could we have to sell?
Our freedom, of course!
Bye bye freedom, welcome hell.
